Gyonne Goedhoop(she/her) is a creator, connector and a Caribbean womxn who puts in effort to construct new systems. She caters to the improvement of the social sphere. Her embodiment of the liminal spaces she inhabits are woven into the work she creates. She creates through her work as a podcaster on BeRightBack/BaiBin, program creator at TENT Rotterdam, as a co-founder of Counter/Narratives, amongst other things… Gyonne has a BA in media & culture history, but life lessons are her biggest teacher.

As their day job, Shari is a history and social studies teacher. Besides educating the younger generation, Shari also loves working on multiple projects that concern our cultural and social wellbeing. Together with Nagila, Combined impact podcast was founded in 2020 in wich we discuss different taboo topics we feel are not talked about enough within our community. In 2020 Eva, Ila and Shari founded Canoas di Caribe, a foundation aimed at creating more spaces for our abcsss communities, starting with our first charity event, Kulchurama. Shari also hosts a radio show with Gyonne, called Nos Sonico Historico.
Eva Croes is a professional dancer, dance educator and choreographer and founded her own dance company EMA Dance Co. in 2017 offering educational programs surrounding the further development within the art of dance. In 2020 Eva launched her own IGTV show called What’s The T? where she goes in conversation with other Caribbean artists and creatives about topics relevant to the times we are living in. Next to hosting her own show, Eva co-hosts different programs, one of them being Bai Bin |Be Right Back podcast together with Gyonne Goedhoop. Together with Shari Maduro & Nagila Muller, Eva forms part of Canoas di Caribe organization which aims to create more space for the ABCSSS communities. Furthermore, Eva is the producer for MoveTheVideo, Krosshart Project and the founder and artistic leader for the Aruba Intercultural Dance Event.
Nagila Muller studied biomedical- and neuroscience and she now works full-time in medical information. She’s also part of the team of CARAF Science (re: Caribbean Research(ers)). Besides sciency stuff, Nagila is also passionate about injustice and will keep doing her part to fight for equity in a creative and hopefully engaging way. Together with Shari, Nagila hosts a podcast called Combined Impact and together with Eva and Shari (and Gyonne), successfully organized an online charity event called Kulchurama.
